I applied to 2 universities in Australia last month - more specifically, the med schools. Today I was fortunate enough to come home to a letter from Monash University in Melbourne inviting me for an interview, and an email from University of New South Wales in Sydney inviting me for an interview as well, albeit quite a bit later. So I'll be going to Australia twice during the holidays, which will be quite nice I'm sure.

I'm hoping I get into Monash, because Melbourne is a relatively convenient place in terms of accommodation. My parents have friends there from whom I could possibly rent a room from, and I think one of my friends live there so if she ever wants to flat, we could flat together.

It's a little scary thinking about going to university... high school seemed boring but I never had more fun in my life than the days I spent there. It's sad to think that in 2 weeks it will all be over. But life certainly goes on and hey, I'll have university life to look forward to now!
