Another 8 months since my last journal post. orz On the bright side I did pass 2nd year med so here I am, more than halfway through 3rd year. Recently I've been thinking about the 100-theme drawing challenge I so naively took up almost 6 years ago. I'm currently 1/3 through it, so basically at this rate it's going to take me another 12 years to finish it. =.=;; Nevertheless it's definitely a source of pressure to get me to draw, which is always welcome. So like, it's been over 8 months since I last posted a journal here. LOL. Not a great deal has changed; I've just finished finals for my 2nd year of university, and have my fingers crossed that I'll pass and be able to move on to next year, where I'll be spending pretty much all of my time doing my learning at a public teaching hospital. It's the summer holidays now (though it's still pretty damn cold) so I'll try to get some more drawing done. Dayum, it's the start of the uni year once again, which means I'm back in Melbourne. It's been a bit jarring to have to study everyday after 3.5 months of not touching a single textbook, but after giving up anime during the weekday I think I'm managing my time fairly well. I even manage to squeeze in an hour of Singularity (an FPS game) most days. It's also weird to not be able to just go 'hey I'm bored, let's hang out' like my friends and I were able to do during my summer in NZ... though I really don't have time to be bored lol.
